4 days Uganda tour combines both gorilla tracking and game viewing. The tour takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a tropical rain forest in South Western Uganda for mountain gorilla tracking. Bwindi hosts half of the world’s total remaining population of the mountain gorillas. After the trek, the tour leads you to Lake Mburo National Park, a savanna gem of a park, conveniently located on the western highway that connects Kampala to the other national parks of western Uganda. Lake Mburo also hosts unique wildlife that include impala, Burch ell’s zebra, and eland that are not found elsewhere in western Uganda, buffaloes, warthog, oribi, Defassa waterbuck and reedbuck.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi.
In the morning, you will be picked from your hotel and begin the journey southwestwards to Bwindi Impenetrable national park, a home of the endangered Mountain Gorillas. You will have enroute lunch in Mbarara before continuing the scenic drive with view of green plantations and hills. Dinner and overnight will be had at Gorilla resort/Buhoma community bandas.Day 2: Gorilla tracking and community walk.
This is the memorable day, where you will track the amazing giants. Move to the park headquarters in the morning for briefing about the dos and don’ts while with the animals. Head into the forest for the trekking adventure, where you will move through thick and slippery trails. Trekking may take 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the Gorilla. Meet and stay in the presence of the Gorillas for a maximum of one hour, then descend to your hotel for lunch and relaxation. In the evening, you will take a community walk to the Batwa community, where you will get entertained and learn about their unique culture. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.Day 3: Transfer to Lake Mburo NP.
In the morning, you will travel to lake Mburo, arriving early enough to have game drive enroute to the park headquarters and canoe cruise on the lake, where you will see several game like the hippos, crocodile, zebras, impalas, antelopes, as well as several bird species like the heron, king fisher, shoe bill stork among others.Day 4: Game Drive and transfer to Kampala.
In the morning, you will go for guided nature walk, where you will admire nature and the beautiful topography of the park. You will then have game drives as you leave the park enroute back to Kampala. Stop over at the equator for photography and Mpambire drum makers as well as Africa craft shops for shopping. You will check in your hotel in Kampala, or be transferred to Entebbe airport for departure if your flight is on schedule.End of Safari
